Vibro-packed concrete channels are made by mixing 425 cement and certified river aggregates. The finished product is of rough appearance, dark grey in colour and is produced by moulding and vibration.

A 15 - 15 kN
Areas that can be used exclusively by pedestrians and cyclists.
B 125 - 125 kN
Pedestrian pathways, pedestrian areas and similar areas, private
car parks or multi-storey car parks.
C 250 - 250 kN
Kerbside and areas not used for docking traffic or similar: the kerbside elements always come with a minimum of class 250.
D 400 - 400 kN
Roads for rolling traffic (including paths) docks and parking areas, for all types of road vehicles.
E 600 - 600 kN
Areas subject to loads from heavy vehicles, for instance, roads of ports and docking basins.
Description
R-SERIES
VIBRO-PACKED Concrete Channels
Vibro-compressed concrete is obtained from a mixture of certified riverbed inert materials and grade 425 concrete that makes the channels highly resistant to compression (RcK>45 N/mm2) frost and thaw cycles, climate-induced erosion and mechanical stress.
The finished product is of rough appearance, dark grey in colour and is produced by moulding and vibration. They are supplied complete with housing for the grid covers and set up for the anchoring of these through innovative locking systems.
Features and benefits:
- Classification in accordance with BS EN 1433:2002.
- 16 sections with galvanized steel edge rail and 11 sections with ductile iron edge rail.
- Seven grating types: D400, E600 and F900 ductile iron, pressure locked grating (available with heel-proof mesh), embossed and press-formed metal sheet.
- Eight nominal internal widths (90, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500).
