Plasterboard Riser Door with Beaded Frame – R53 Range - Access Panels Riser Doors

A plasterboard‑faced riser door engineered to provide discreet access to concealed building services within walls and riser shafts. The unit incorporates the RapidFit® quick fitting hinge system, allowing single person installation, and comes with a three‑point locking mechanism as standard for secure closure.

Supplied with a beaded frame designed to accept skim‑coat plastering, this riser door achieves a flush finish with the wall surface for a neat aesthetic. The door leaf and frame are powder coated in RAL 9010 (30% gloss) as standard, with alternative finishes available on request.

This product is available in non‑fire rated, fire‑resistant up to two hours, acoustic rated (up to 30 dB) and airtight variants to suit project performance requirements.

• Acoustic Rated up to 30 dB tested in accordance with BS EN ISO 10140-2:2010.
• Smoke tested in accordance with BS EN 1634-3: 2004.

Installation

• Designed for installation within plasterboard wall systems.
• Ensure structural openings are sized to manufacturer recommendations.
• Install door prior to finishing plaster to allow flush skim‑coat finish on the beaded frame.
• Follow manufacturer’s installation instructions for fixing detail.
