Application

  • Decoration: Conventional applications; furniture, partitions and doors. Products based on Planibel Clearvision – such as painted, acid-etched and sandblasted glass – are suitable for design work.
  • Architecture: For use outdoors as a base glass in architectural applications; laminated (shop windows), double skin facades and coated glass. Even in very thick versions required for wind resistance, Clearvision maintains its first-rate transparency and neutrality.
  • Solar: Suitable for solar applications, photovoltaic solar panels, thermal panels and solar mirrors. It has a particularly high energy transmission and an excellent transmission in the sensitivity spectrums of solar panels, making Planibel Clearvision suitable for maximizing the efficiency of solar applications.

Extra-clear, low-iron float glass.


Features and benefits:

  • Light transmission of 92% (4 mm thick): increases amount of light entering a building, resulting in increased well-being of building occupants.
  • High colour rendering index: Provide superior quality of light in a building and lets the colours of objects or nature seen through the glass appear bright and fresh. When backpainted (interior applications), colours are true and pure.
  • High level of energy transmission.
  • Low level of energy absorption.
  • Even when used in extra-thick version  for furniture or interior design (up to  19 mm), it remains perfectly neutral.
