Application

Suitable for use as a loose laid radon gas barrier and damp proof membrane. Has a thickness of 400 microns (0.4mm/1600 gauge) and is manufactured to comply with

BR 211 and current BS 8485 UK regulations for radon protection.

Suitable for both taped or welded installations, the gas barrier meets EN 13967 as a damp proof membrane and is CE approved.

Description

Novia 1600 Gauge Radon Barrier is a virgin grade polythene material suitable for use as a loose laid radon gas barrier and damp proof membrane.

Installation

Novia advises using Novia double sided butyl and Novia aluminium foil tape to ensure a complete gas seal is maintained throughout the entire life of the product.

To be installed in accordance with BR 211 guidance.

To correctly install the radon barrier at all joints, you will need to ensure the surface is dry and dust free before unrolling the membrane.
