Description

The ventilated facade two layers system consists of a specially designed bracket (MFT-S2S U/UI), and vertical/ horizontal aluminium profiles (MFT-S2S TT) for vertical substructure.

The brackets are specially designed to be fastened to the concrete slab or the steel beam and to withstand the ventilated facade loads (wind and self-loading). The brackets include different hole geometries in the base plate (for installing anchors or screws). When needed, the flexible point brackets, MFT-S2S U/UI, are used in order to fix the vertical profiles, holding up the wind loads and allowing the thermal expansion of the profile. The brackets can be supplied with (pre-installed) or without isolators.

The vertical profiles are connected to the support brackets with specially designed screws for ventilated façade, S-AD, which avoids creating compressing forces from the profile against the wall brackets and keeps the profile connected by the support bracket in place.

Additionally, each profile will be connected to each other with the connector, MFT-S2S PC. The connector will be fixed to one of the profiles in order to allow the second profile to expand. Each bracket in combination with the profile will allow an adjustment in order to align the profile with the wall distance needed along the ventilated facade. With this system and depending on the profile, different tolerances can be achieved in order to minimize the wall irregularities and install the cladding material as designed.

The horizontal hanger profiles with elongated holes to the vertical profiles using fixed and flexible points using stainless steel screws, S-MD51 LS. Fixed points are created by placing two screws at the end of the elongated holes while flexible points consist of one screw. Hangers are differentiated according to their function, i.e. fixed, levelling and levelling plus fastening.
