Application

Suitable for coating floors in internal civil environments and in the service sector, such as:

  • Hospitals.
  • Museums.
  • Bars.
  • Shops.
  • Schools and nurseries.
  • Apartments.

Not suitable for constant exposure to high temperatures and thermal shock.

Description

Self-levelling, elastic, smooth, coloured, aliphatic, polyurethane resin-based coating system with a total thickness of 2 mm.

Components (in order of application):

  • Primer SN – coated onto the substrate.
  • Quartz 0.5.
  • Mapefloor PU 461.
  • Mapefloor Finish 58 W – transparent finish which gives the surface a matt effect.

Guidance for specification option:

  • Primer SN: 0.7 kg/m² (may vary dependent on substrate preparation).
  • Quartz 0.5 (when sprinkled onto wet primer): 0.14 kg/m².
  • Quartz 0.5 (generally): 0.7–1 kg/m².

Self-levelling coating.

Guidance for specification option:

Mapefloor PU 461: 2.8 kg/m² (per 2 mm thick coat).

Finishing coat.

Guidance for specification option:

Mapefloor finish 58 W: 0.1–0.2 kg/m² (per coat).

Drying time

Ready for foot traffic after 12 hours and completely hardened after 7 days.
