Epoxy treatment system in water dispersion.
Application
Suitable for penetrating industrial concrete floors without a vapour barrier and traditional cementitious screeds. Can be used in:
- The chemical processing and pharmaceutical industries (in storage areas).
- Shopping centres (in storage areas).
- As a dust and oil repellent treatment for industrial floors which have been sprinkled down and smoothed over.
- As a dust repellent treatment in automated warehouse systems.
Description
Water-based epoxy treatment system for the protective impregnation of UltraTop, and as a primer for Mapefloor System 53. Requires use of Mapecoat I 600 W – consult manufacturer for information.
Features and benefits:
- Smooth and transparent.
- Will create industrial floors which are dust repellent, and resistant to oil and aggressive substances.
- Can withstand frequent washing, and the wear caused by trolleys and moving vehicles.
- Contains no solvents and is therefore safer for the environment.
- Long-lasting, with high resistance to wear and abrasion.
- Good wetting and impregnating properties.
- Guarantees a good cost-performance ratio.
Components required:
- Mapecoat I 600 W/A.
- Mapecoat I 600 W/B.
- Water.
May dry to a mottled effect due to the different absorption rates of substrates.
Consult manufacturer's literature for information on recommended substrate preparation and conditions not suitable for the application of this product.
