Sedum mat system (warm roof)
Extensive Sedum Living Roof systems provide all the benefits of a drought tolerant and lightweight extensive living roof.
Langley Extensive Sedum Living Roof systems are designed to be used in conjunction with the Langley RBM, Hotmelt and Liquid waterproof systems and provides all the benefits of a drought tolerant, and lightweight extensive living roof.
Substrates are GRO compliant and tested to BS 8616:2019.
Our 20mm cuspated drainage / reservoir layer is constructed from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and includes a laminated upper filtration & bottom *protection fleece (* required on warm & cold roofs only) to simplify installations and ensure consistency across the living roof.
Fire Performance – the Langley sedum systems can achieve BRoof(t4) compliance when tested as part of a full Langley roof buildup.
Mat: Plant coverage upon installation: 90-95%. Langley Sedum mat comprises of 18 hardy & drought tolerant succulents
Plug Plant option: Plant coverage 5% upon installation & approx. 90-95% after 9-12 months. Includes a selection of up to 13 hardy & drought tolerant succulents
