Description
The Knauf GIFAfloor DB Green system is a sustainable raised access flooring solution designed for office and commercial environments. Manufactured from low-carbon gypsum fibre panels, it provides high structural performance while significantly reducing environmental impact.
Material Composition & Construction
DB Green panels are made from homogeneous gypsum fibre elements, produced with:
- Minimum 70–80% recycled content
- No plastic, steel, or timber components
Unlike traditional raised floor panels, DB Green is manufactured without ABS edge bands, resulting in a completely flat surface with a bevelled edge finish.
This construction simplifies recycling at end of life and allows the seamless installation of loose-laid textile coverings such as carpet tiles.

Both systems can be installed side by side, creating a unified raised floor solution from a single manufacturer.
