Hempadur 15570

A two component, polyamide-adduct cured epoxy paint, which cures to a strong and highly corrosion resistant coating, at temperatures down to -10°C (14°F).

Features and benefits:

• The Micaceous Iron Oxide pigmented reddish grey 12430 shade is also well suited for application under humid conditions, on damp steel surfaces, and may be applied on moist surfaces.
• The greyish yellow 21780 and the grey 11320 shades contains zinc phosphate.
• Maximum, dry exposure only: 140°C (284°F).
• Well suited as a (blast) primer in epoxy systems.
• Approved as a low flame spread material when used as part of a predefined paint system.

• EC-type examined as a low flame spread material when used as part of a predefined paint system. Please refer to “Declaration of Conformity” on hempel.com for further details.
• Complies with the European Fire Standard EN 13501-1, fire reaction class: B-s1, d0.

Product compatibility:

• Previous coat: None or according to Hempel’s specification.
• Subsequent coat: According to Hempel’s Specification. Recommended products are Hempadur, Hempathane, Hempatex.

Application method:

• Airless spray.
• Air spray.
• Brush.

Drying time:

Determined for dry film thickness 100 micron (3.9 mils) at standard conditions. Indicative values at 20ºC; Touch dry: 60 minutes, Hard dry: 5 hours.
