Application

Suitable for 190 mm wide walls and partitions. For use normally in plastered situations. Not exposed situations.

Description

Fire-Spec is a range of ex-steel mould finish high performance units, available in 60, 90 and 120 minutes, dependent upon the section width. Other concrete sections can be made with a fire resistance equal to or greater than the standard range. The Naylor technical team, with their special knowledge of concrete, can advise which sections would achieve a specific fire resistance and strength rating and offer a design solution, should they not be detailed in the load span tables.

Features and benefits:

  • Materials comply with BS EN 206 and BS 8500.
  • The pre-stressing wire complies with BS 5896.
  • All fire rated lintels produced by Naylor Lintels comply with EN 1992-1-2.
  • Fire rated lintels meet the Building Regs requirement for protection of structural elements of concrete. They are designed to buy time for occupants to exit the building and Fire services to deal with the fire. Both protecting the building and occupants.
  • Fair Faced Fire-Spec lintels are also available in a class C fair faced finish and again with a 60, 90 and 120 minute fire rating.
