High security DIN standard handle controlled multi-point lock for narrow profile doors.
Application
- Suitable for medium traffic exit and fire rated doors requiring multi-point locking in business premises, public buildings, hospitals and schools.
- Not suitable for use with door automatics.
Description
High security lock combining handle controlled unlocking with mechanical security requirements.
When door closes, the split spindle function engages the outside handle via electric access control, the dead bolt and hook bolts are thrown out automatically, the double action latch is blocked and the lock case is secured in four points. The inside handle opens the lock mechanically as an exit function.
Features and benefits:
- Easily reversible trigger bolt, suitable for all hands of door.
- Quick change fail locked to fail unlocked.
- Deadbolt and ant-friction bolt deadlock when door closes.
- Key override and inside handle operates at all times.
- Meets EN 179 for emergency exit doors and EN 1634-1 for fire resistance (when used with correct exit hardware).
- Tested to mechanical resistance EN 12209.
