Prestressed Concrete Lintels - Economy Range - Fire-Rated up to 30 Minutes

Economy lintels are available in seven different section sizes and in widths of 100 mm, 140 mm and 215 mm with lengths ranging from 900 mm to 3000 mm, depending upon section size. Naylor Concrete Economy lintels have an extruded concrete finish suited to plastered or rendered applications. Prestressed lintels can be cut to length on site without adversely affecting the lintel's performance and may be used in building foundations to support service entries.

Economy range lintels are manufactured in-house at Naylor Concrete's site based in Barnsley using the extrusion manufacturing method. The lintels are fully reversible and prestressed. They come with 30 minutes fire rating as standard, are cost-effective, provide high performance and are typically used in plastered or rendered situations. Each lintel is marked at the ‘top’ to ensure correct orientation during installation.

Due to the use of additives and concrete strength, our lintels are suitable for use below ground to bridge service entries in buildings. Prestressed concrete lintels ensure optimum performance and have a high span-to-depth ratio, which results in lighter units. They are typically used in housing applications or in applications where a high load-carrying capacity is not required.
