Application

Rain defence louvres for areas where weather protection and airflow performance is required, but louvred façade aesthetic is not desired.

Description

Perform™ class A rain defence louvres with vertical blades concealed behind an attractive perforated skin. Offers excellent weather performance, combined with good airflow and sight screening. Classified as A 3 up to 3.0 m/s.

Features and benefits:

  • Complex extruded blade design in vertical arrangement for maximum rain defence performance.
  • Multiple channels in blades to collect and drain water from the louvred area.
  • Perforated aluminium face conceals the louvre while offering modern appearance.
    • The screen can be supplied anodised or powder coated to meet project requirements. Louvre modules are powder-coated black as standard for maximum concealment.
  • Glazing frame option available.
  • Delivered to site as pre-fabricated modules for efficient installation.
  • Sight-proof design.

Material

Extruded 6063-T6 aluminium alloy frame and louvre blades; aluminium alloy perforated sheet.

Guidance for specification option:

Perforated sheet: 3 mm-thick, aluminium alloy 1050 H14/H24 as standard. Standard perforation pattern: 9.5 mm diameter holes, with 12.7 mm staggered centres and pitch. Other screen materials and perforation patterns can be offered, subject to additional testing.


All other components to be one-piece members extruded from aluminium alloy 6063-T6 (nominal minimum thickness to be: for blades 1.52 mm & 1.91 mm, for heads, cills, jambs and mullions: 2.54 mm).

  • Perforated sheet sections are attached to louvre modules and butt jointed for a uniform look across the facade.
  • Perforation pattern: 9.5 mm-diameter holes with 12.7 mm staggered centres and pitch.
  • Interlocking mullions.
