• Fabrics are fire resistant, and some can be wiped clean and be weather resistant. Porous fabrics allow good air exchange for natural ventilation. Glare control fabrics can have varying degrees of openness, to allow a view outside and may also be translucent, so that the need for artificial lighting is reduced.
• Options include high performance energy saving fabrics with available technical data and 100% opaque fabrics for room darkening.
• Ultra-heavy-duty steel brackets with PPC finish
• The roller tube is a strong and rigid design extruded from steel to provide a rigid barrel which will resist deflection on larger blind widths
• The crank operation mechanism is manufactured from steel and is a sealed and tamper-proof unit to increase life and the handle can either be permanently fixed or detachable with socket connection to prevent unauthorised operation
• Where wiring provision is an issue, the system can be very versatile for high level clerestory windows. The extended detachable crank handle option allows a cost effective, safe and controllable solution to north lights, halls and any area which is hard to reach but where retrospective wiring needs to be avoided.
• Motorised operation options are either with hardwired switch or radio controlled, or connected to third party system

Motorized operation wiring:

• Wiring is to be carried out by an approved blind contractor or qualified and experienced electrician in accordance with wiring diagram supplied. Blinds to be wired into approved disconnection point such as inline connector or 4-pole rose fitting, within 800 mm of blind motor position. Request project specific guidance.
