Description

Brick slip cladding support system using a range of profiles and spacers.

Designed to provide a strong backing support wall for ventilated facades.

The system comprises of:

Briklok™ profiles.
Spacers.
Brick slips (supplied by others) - the system is compatible with most types of T2 natural bricks from manufacturers including Ibstock.

Features and benefits:

Fully enclosed back aluminium support frame for natural brick slips.
Interlocking design that creates a solid aluminium inner cavity, supporting simple, tested cavity barrier installation.
Creates the possibility of the off-site fabrication of columns and corner returns, resulting in improved, reduced installation time.
Cutting and punching off-site produces clean and accurate cuts and holes, at a precision un-achievable on site. This can reduce wastage, and result in a flawless final product.
Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) tested for air leakage, watertightness, point load impact, and wind resistance.
Brick slips enable lightweight construction, with the timeless aesthetic appeal of brick even in high-rise applications.

Manufacturer guidance The two sizes were created because of the variance that occurs in real bricks. The size of profile required will be determined pre-project, based on a sample of bricks. Both Briklok™ and Briklok™ XL use the same lower profile. This is not effected by the height of the brick. Briklok™ MJ profiles will be used within movement joints. Standard, corner and column details are available dependent on requirements.
