Description

Advanced BioClad® PVC Antimicrobial Panel containing Biocote silver ion antimicrobial additive throughout the product thickness with a lifetime guarantee and a single source manufacturer/installer warranty.

Single skin PVC panel with a BioCote® antimicrobial additive to inhibit the growth of bacteria and mould.

High-density, high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) system providing high impact resistance. An alternative solution to tiles, grout-free, easy to clean with a white finish.

Meets all EU regulations making it suitable for food preparation areas and commercial kitchens.


Features and benefits:

  • Resistant to a wide range of chemicals found within the medical, healthcare, and food production industries.
  • PVC panels also don’t flake or corrode.
  • Watertight finish.


Suitable substrates:

  • Good quality fair faced brick or blockwork.
  • Sand and cement rendering 1:3 with a steel trowel finish.
  • 12.5 mm-thick plasterboard.
  • Ceramic tiles which are securely bonded to substrate.
  • 9 mm (minimum) W.P.B resin bonded to substrate.
  • Pink lightweight plasters are generally not suitable.
  • Some surfaces may need PVA sealer subject to site survey.


Components:

Site thermoformed angle sections internal/ external corners, PVC-U cill details, joints and edge trims. As specified B S ‘food safe’ complying with EEC regulations for hygiene in production areas. Directive 64/483 and the requirement as outlined in statutory instruments 454 and 805 (food hygiene).
