A technically advanced, self-adhesive elastomeric bitumen vapour barrier with patented 'DUO' lap technology. The product features an aluminium foil facing for vapour impermeability.

Waterproofing coating:

- LiquiDEK:

A cold liquid-applied, fast-curing waterproofing resin, for use on the main roof area of the LiquiTEC Roof System. It is applied in two coats, ‘wet-on-wet’, with a layer of Bauder 110 g/m² reinforcement fleece between them. The product is a poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) resin-based resin, and requires the addition of a catalyst to trigger curing. It is solvent, isocyanate and halogen-free, minimizing its environmental impact.

  • Coverage: 3 kg/m² (minimum).
  • Application temperature: -5 to +35°C.
  • Application method: roller.
  • Rainproof time: 30–90 minutes.
  • Overcoat/ traffic time: 45–120 minutes.

Accessories:

- Bauder GRP Trim:

GRP roof edge trim, for use with Bauder bituminous roof systems. Available in colours of either grey or black, and a choice of profiles to suit the requirements of most projects.

- Bauder Aluminium Termination Bar:

Natural finish aluminium alternative to a lead counterflashing, for use at upstand details to give protection to the top edge of the waterproofing. It should be restricted to use on upstands where a chase cannot be cut into the wall.

- Bauder GRP Termination Bar:

Black glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) alternative to a lead counterflashing, for use at upstand details to give protection to the top edge of the waterproofing. It should be restricted to use on upstands where a chase cannot be cut into the wall.

- Bauder lightning conductors:

Lightning conductor clips are specially designed secure clips that allow for movement.

  • Bauder Lightning conductor - Type 4: polyvinyl chloride (PVC)-coated or bare conductor.

- Bauder insulated rainwater outlets:

For maintaining thermal continuity at drainage points. Suitable for warm, cold and inverted roof construction, the high thermal value of the rigid foam body prevents condensation from forming on the underside of the outlet.

Designed for use when connecting to conventional drainage systems, with excellent flow rate performance, and is suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects. Outlets are included in the Bauder waterproofing system guarantee as they are integrated components.

Flow rate figures (where applicable) are based on BS EN 12056:3:2000, typically taken using a 35 mm header of water including leaf grille:

- BauderSOLAR Photovoltaic Mounting System:

Bauder Flat roof PV mounting solution for framed solar modules. The mounting units are secured to the roof using a membrane-to-membrane welding technique. This installation method means that the roof is not compromised by penetrations for fixings, nor is it ballasted, which would add additional weight loading to the roof. Specifically designed to be installed on Bauder bituminous or single-ply waterproofing systems and provide a lightweight, low-risk and quick-to-install mounting solution for framed solar modules.

- Bauder LiquiFIBRE Detailing Kit:

Fast-curing waterproofing resin, containing fibre reinforcement that can be used for detailing awkward shapes or inaccessible areas where using LiquiDETAIL is impractical. PMMA-based resin that requires a catalyst and is solvent, isocyanate and halogen-free.

- Bauder LiquiDETAIL:

Cold liquid-applied, fast-curing waterproofing resin that can be used on upstands and details. PMMA-based resin that requires the addition of catalyst to trigger curing, and is solvent, isocyanate and halogen-free.

- Bauder rooflights/ glazing/ ventilation:
