A movable squash court side wall that can be operated either electrically or manually.
Suitable for squash courts.
An ASB Movable Side Wall enables multi-functional use of squash courts. The wall can be shifted from singles either into doubles position or completely to the far side to open up an entire multipurpose area.
The ASB Movable Side Wall has the same build-up as the ABS System100 walls. An additional stabilizing steel frame is incorporated into the movable wall. Filling with standard fire-dried sand is substituted with expanded, ceramic, fire-dried sand, reducing the total weight of the movable wall.
The ASB Movable Side Wall slides on two carriages, supported by IPE beams, fixed above the front wall and the back wall. The horizontal imposed load caused by the wall movement has to be transferred into a stable building construction on the side of the front and back walls.

Framing | ASB aluminium columns, aluminum I-profiles, steel stiffening tubes and stabilizing steel frame. |
Insulation | Expanded ceramic fire-dried sand. |
Linings | ASB 18 mm high-density boards and ASB wall coating. |
System accessories | ASB out of play line profile, ABS net, and 3 No. ground fixing locks. |
Anchoring | ASB System40 front wall: ABS trolley, IPE steel beam and steel rail on anchoring plates and steel brackets. ASB System100 front wall: ABS trolley, ASB steel rail, building frame steel transverse beam and anchoring brackets. Guidance for specification option: If used in combination with the ASB System100 front walls, a solid building construction (steel building frame, structural wall, etc.) must be prepared to transfer the imposed load. The imposed load is caused by the wall movement, and its value, in each position of the wall, is 3 kN. |
Operation | Manual control. Electrical control, 380–440 V, 50 Hz. Guidance for specification option: Electrically operated walls are driven by two electric motors, controlled by a control panel. The power supply is normally designed for three-phase, 380–440V, 50 Hz frequency. The electrical power supply has to be provided on site with a plug connection. |
