Application

The Pettinaroli PE83 Series are designed for higher flow rate applications of up to 18,000 L/h which require an equal percentage valve characteristic. Typical Applications include AHU, Plant Rooms and Data Centres. Roof mounted protected versions are available and the units are able to be prefabricaed into commissioning sets which are pretested before arriving on site.

Pressure independent balancing and control valve for rotary actuator. With Presetting device. Union end connections F x F.


Features and benefits:

  • Good valve authority to maintain temperature control and power output from the terminal unit using the complete stroke of the valve.
  • Maximum design flow limitation: once set, the 83 valve maintains design flow regardless of pressure changes in the system.
  • It can easily be set up once installed, using the actuator or by means of the device 081PR1.
  • Measure by means of specific meter of the differential pressure across the valve: in this way user can verify if the start-up pressure has been reached and overpassed.
