Application

The product is designed as an energy metering for the billing of water installations in domestic or commercial areas. The ultrasonic energy meter is mounted onto an 80mm flushing bypass for effective cleaning of the system pre-commissioning and also incorporates a Filterball, combined filter and isolation valve, on the flow to protect the unit. The unit has full isolation capabilities allowing for easy maintenance of the terminal units and system components.

Description

An energy meter supplied with a prefabricated and 100% tested flushing bypass kit for hydronic balancing, flushing and consumption metering in heating and cooling systems.


Functions:

  • Adjustable design flow rate that remains constant even with variations in the other circuits thanks to the PICV ;
  • 80mm Flushing bypass for the effective flushing of the circuit.
  • Full isolation of the terminal unit with the purpose to carry out cleaning and/or maintenance operations on the system;
  • Implementing a system for accounting the energy exchanged by the terminal unit, both with the purpose of simple measurement or actual billing of consumption.


Energy SAVER COMPACT comprises:

  1. Dynasty pressure independent control valve for heavily contaminated water, with the suitable actuator (thermoelectric or electromechanical).
  2. Pettinaroli heating and cooling thermal Energy Meter.
  3. FilterBall (isolation valve with integrated filter included)
  4. 80mm Flushing By-pass
  5. Isolation valves.

  • Can be used on the terminal unit side to facilitate connection operations of the kit Energy SAVER Compact.

Pressure ports

  • Fast plug pressure ports for fluid pressure and temperature measurements. Equipped with an appropriate internal sealing gasket and suitable for the insertion of needle-type sensors with a maximum diameter of 3 mm.
  • Can be installed on the PICV DYNASTY 92-1 in place of the relevant caps. This way it is possible to measure the pressure difference present at the ends of the valve and verify that it has reached the start-up value.
