The use of channels often eliminates the need for the costly and time-consuming procedure of site drilling either concrete or steelwork.

At vertical movement joints, the use of plastic debonding sleeves on plain ended wall ties play a dual role. Masonry is allowed to expand or contract, while at the same time the tie restrains the masonry against lateral wind loads

Wincro Parapet Windposts provide lateral support for masonry clad parapet walls. They provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional techniques, such as increasing wall thicknesses or introducing piers or extra structural columns. Wincro have developed an extensive range of strong, lightweight, parapet posts with a wide range of base fixings to suit a variety of applications including connections to structural steel, concrete frame or precast floor planks.
Parapet and Spandrel posts are designed as cantilevers and include a large base connection. Spandrel posts include spandrel rails and connections, designed to suit specific circumstances.
Special designs can also be accommodated.
Stainless Steel Angle Windposts

WPA Windposts are ideal for use in buildings subjected to high wind loads and for reduced cavity applications. The main windpost leg is built into the inner leaf of the blockwork and tied using one-piece, two way ties.
Windposts provide strength and stability for panels of masonry cladding.

Two Part Wall Tie

The Wincro WT2PT is a two-part tie suitable for cavities greater than 150mm.
Ties long enough to span a cavity greater than 150mm would over balance when laid on the inner leaf.
Type 1 Wall Tie

WT1 is suitable for cavities from 50mm to 175mm and is available in lengths from 200mm to 300mm.
Suitable for buildings of any height, anywhere in the U.K, WT1 has a measured dynamic stiffness of <113MN/m3 to meet the performance requirements of Approved Document E for use in ex-ternal masonry walls.
