Vector Foiltec has made major contributions to cutting edge Architecture with its versatile Texlon ETFE® cladding and roofing system since 1982. As a global market leader in “Architectural Foil Construction” and the leader in Architectural ETFE systems as inventor of the Texlon® ETFE system, we have completed over 1,700 international projects.

Our system shapes stadia, atria, shopping centers, zoos, botanical gardens, public buildings, swimming pools, schools, airports, universities, and even mobile performance halls all over the world.

Whether as a single or multi-layer system, Texlon® ETFE can deliver high-performance building envelopes with significantly less material, lower embodied carbon, and dramatically more natural light control. Leveraging the lightness of our Texlon® ETFE system (up to 7 times lighter than a comparable glazing system), we can offer faster installation times, lower maintenance requirements and considerably easier repair and replacement if required.

Vector Foiltec invented and pioneered the use of Texlon® ETFE over 40 years ago and is the only company in the world whose core business is Architectural ETFE Systems. Our team of experts is responsible for most major technological innovations in the field. Through continual, extensive investment in Research & Development and a commitment to superior quality and performance, we continue to be the global market leader in Architectural ETFE cladding.

With factories in Bremen, Germany and Beijing, we have 18 branches across the world, including the UK, US, Australia and Singapore, integrating local knowledge with global expertise. Our Texlon® ETFE system has already proven itself effective in climatic zones ranging from desert to arctic and is one of the most versatile ways of playing with natural light, able to achieve almost any Architectural form within technical reason.

It takes significantly less energy to produce our Texlon® elements compared to conventional glazing systems. Adhering to Circular Economy principles, our ETFE foils are recycled into gaskets, air pipes and valves at the end of their use and we are on a continual search for ways to further reduce or eliminate waste wherever possible.

In 2011, we were the first company in the world to receive an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for transparent cladding, offering certified assurance of our embodied carbon, chemical content, and energy input claims.
