tufftop is a high performance non-permeable, self compacting, free flowing slurry applied jointing mortar suitable for pavements constructed in natural stone of pre-cast concrete paving units. The elastic modulus is optimised to provide the correct supporting stiffness whilst also continually absorbing the thermal and mechanical stresses applied to bound construction pavements. Steintec tufftop provides pavements with exceptional performance and durability including those in heavily trafficked environments. tufftop meets or exceeds the requirements of BS7533-101:2021 Table 12 for Type 25 and Type 40 jointing mortars. tufftop is formulated for use with tuffbed or tuffbed 2-pack bedding mortars and tuffbond bonding and priming mortar.
