This substantial renovation delivers facilities for shopping, dining and socialising, all of which showcase eye-catching designs and meet the demands of heavy student footfall thanks to a wide range of Polyflor flooring solutions.

The House of Books & Friends is a thriving community hub in central Manchester. As well as a wide selection of literature, this impeccably designed venue offers good coffee and conversation in its mission to combat loneliness. The inventive use of various Expona Commercial PUR products brought the original features of this Grade II listed building to life.

Palettone helps provide sports lovers with a vibrant workplace interior designed for both work and play. The headquarters belong to technology company, Livesport of whom sports is a fundamental part of their culture. A variety of bright and dynamic shades from the vinyl collection were used to create the aesthetic of a running track.

Customers and staff at high-end opticians reap the benefits of Polyflor’s design focused, yet durable products. Polyflor’s Expona Simplay range was used across the optician’s premises, which is located in the well-heeled shopping district of Strandgata 9, in Norway’s Tromsø . The range was selected to cultivate a tempting and inviting space for customers, while offering employees an attractive environment to go about their daily work.

Upon the shore of Caswell Bay, Swansea, sits the iconic surf centre of the charitable organisation Surfability UK, built in collaboration with BBC’s DIY SOS programme. On the Children In Need special episode, viewers witnessed a team of volunteers complete the construction of this permanent facility for young surf students. Polyflor happily donated its Quattro PUR safety flooring to this worthy cause.

High performance sheet flooring from Polyflor was used to create a statement design floor in The Armoury Café and Kitchen at the Imperial War Museum Duxford in Cambridgeshire. Designed by London based SHH Architecture & Interior Design, this refurbished restaurant area at Britain’s largest aviation museum features a monochrome floor design which was created using 300 m² of Polyflor’s Classic Mystique PUR vinyl flooring. Installed by flooring contractors Key Floors, the Smokestone, Nocturne and Quartz shades form concentric circles that echo the Royal Air Force logo.
