Sustainability overview

We are committed to embedding sustainability across our product range, offering specifiers a selection of responsibly sourced, low-impact materials that support circular design and environmental performance.

♻️ Recycled & Recyclable Surfaces

Polygood

We promote Polygood as a sustainable surface option for vanity tops and decorative panels. Manufactured by The Good Plastic Company, Polygood is made from 100% recycled and recyclable polystyrene plastic, sourced from post-consumer and post-industrial waste streams. Each panel diverts up to 5,400 plastic items from landfill and is available in over 50 colourways, including terrazzo-style and translucent finishes. Polygood is durable, waterproof, and VOC-free, making it ideal for high-traffic washroom environments while supporting circular economy principles.

PaperStone

For recycled panel applications, we specify PaperStone, a composite surface made from FSC-certified recycled paper and natural, petroleum-free resin. It offers the tactile warmth of wood with the durability of stone, and is non-porous, VOC-free, and highly resistant to impact and moisture. PaperStone is well-suited for vanity units, cubicle cladding, and other interior applications where sustainability and performance are key.

🌿 Solid Surface Options

We also offer a range of solid surface materials including Corian®, Durat®, and Hi-Macs®, which are widely used for vanity tops due to their non-porous, hygienic, and repairable properties. These materials are composed of natural mineral fillers and acrylic resins, and many ranges now include recycled content and low-VOC certifications, supporting LEED and BREEAM targets.

🌱 Bamboo Cubicle Range

Our Mivera bamboo cubicle range is a fully sustainable solution for washroom partitions. Bamboo is a rapidly renewable material, growing up to 20 times faster than traditional hardwoods, and requires no replanting after harvest. Our bamboo panels offer a warm, contemporary aesthetic with exceptional environmental credentials. This range is ideal for architects and property developers seeking to reduce embodied carbon on their buildings without compromising on durability or design.

Carbon Neutral Offsetting Scheme:

Also, as part of our commitment to the environment, we have partnered with Climate Partner to support offset any manufacturing methods that we carry out. The three main projects we support are:

Ocean Protection - Worldwide

Every tonne of CO2 offset helps the Plastic Bank initiative to stop 10 kg of plastic waste entering the ocean.

Forest Protection - Cujubim, Brazil

This project changes behaviours towards practices, protection, and conservation of forests.

Wind Energy - Nashik, India

Fossil energy is replaced by feeding renewable wind energy to the regional NEWNE power grid.
