March 2021 saw the first installation of Gypsol Anhydrite screed in Perth, Western Australia!The project, a 150 square metre new build home, was supplied and installed by Metsel Mortars on Saturday, 6th March. This project is a culmination of months of collaboration between Metsel and LKAB Minerals to ensure Gypsol Binder was successfully exported and installed in the new market.

In January, Gypsol HTC screed was installed to the ground floors of a new self-build home in North Lincolnshire, UK.The four bedroom, self-build, detached home saw 160 square metres of Gypsol Anhydrite Screed installed by Z K Flow Screed. The floor screed was designed to be placed over underfloor heating, with a depth ranging from 40 – 70mm. It was produced by Ever Readymix in Sandtoft and the pour completed in one day.

Label Craft is a manufacturer of self-adhesive labels in Dublin, Ireland. They proudly boast of being able to supply a complete innovative label solution for any business. Time is critical in delivering products and services to their clients, so they turned to Gypsol’s thin TS-20 screed to provide the solution to their print room floor refurbishment.

Gypsol TS-15 is a unique and versatile screed format that combines high strength, thin depth, and rapid installation to offer a robust material that can be used either bonded or un-bonded over a solid substrate. No other thin screed solution currently available in the UK market allows such rapid un-bonded installation.

Last week saw our first Delivery of Gypsol Complete binder to Notts Contractors in Yelland Barnstaple in the South West of England.John Andrews, Plant manager at Notts Contractors commented, ‘We are pleased to have overseen our first successful delivery of Complete without any complications. As we were unloading Gypsol Complete into the silo, the material was being produced for delivery to the site, ensuring a much faster batching process and increasing our ability to deliver in short lead times.’ The batches of Gypsol Complete were then delivered to AJ Wilson in North Devon, UK, at two sites in Lifton and Buckland Brewer.

LKAB Minerals is pleased to supply Gypsol on one of Vistry Partnerships' most challenging projects in London.Brunel Street Works is one of the largest regeneration sites in London, Canning Town, E16. This exciting new urban development is helping support and attract new homeowners and revitalise a disused site in Canning Town. The site is close to major rail links, a short walk to Canary Wharf and to London City Airport. In addition to the strong transport links, the apartments offer stunning views of the city landscape, including the O2  Arena. The development project in total consists of 996 apartments and a Premier Inn Hotel over 5 Blocks.
