From optimising our operational practices to developing more sustainable products – such as the recently launched Lignacite ECO Range (which contains up to 70% recycled content and reduces embodied carbon by up to 70% compared to a standard Lignacite block) – we are focused on minimising and eliminating risks to both the public and the environment.

We back up our sustainability claims with industry-recognised accreditations and certifications. Our products are supported by independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), as well as third-party Recycled Content Audit Reports, confirming the amount of recycled material in our blocks. Additionally, we hold a 'Very Good' BES 6001 Certificate for responsible sourcing.

Since our founding in 1947, sustainability has been a cornerstone of our business. We have always incorporated recycled content into our products, and this long-standing commitment – nearly 80 years in the making – continues to drive our ambition to set the standard.
