Bawtry Mayflower Primary School were experiencing a considerable amount of damage to the corners of its interior walls from everyday wear and tear. it therefore needed to find an effective way of protecting both pupils and the fabric of its building whilst retaining much of its existing colour scheme and minimising the need for ongoing maintenance work.

Amongst the three solutions offered Intastop’s Door Top Alarm was considered to be the best option. The conclusion of the clinical group was that the Intastop Door Top Alarm would provide a robust assistance aid to ward staff and provide an early warning measure.

Melior Community Academy is a newly built school for 11 to 16 year olds. The £18m facility opened its doors in 2011 and is made up of four blocks connected via a web of corridors. The initial building design had incorporated several internal wall colours which are pertinent to the area, subject and children using it.

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) operates services in 200 locations across Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire. It provides a range of inpatient and community mental health , learning disability and addiction services for adult, young people and children. The solution offered by Intastop was to ensure the door had full anti-ligature protection with the Door Top Alarm and fully clad the door in high quality anti-bacterial impact protection sheet which prevents water absorption and protects from damage.

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) operates services in 200 locations across Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire. It provides an inpatient and community mental health, learning disability and addiction services for adult, young people and children. The trust required a solution to help prevent the possibility of suicide from door tops while not compromising the integrity of the door in terms of fire, safety, privacy and functionality.

Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber (RDaSH) NHS Trust commissioned the IVision product from leading manufacturer Intastop to serve as a replacement and trial at one of its mental health units in the North Lincolnshire town of Scunthorpe.

The Chesterfield Nuffield Health Hospital, Bristol commissioned Intastop Ltd after its walls in theatre corridors and waiting areas were suffering from high levels of unsightly and unhygienic impact damage.

The Harbour is a new state-of-the-art 154 bed mental health facility near Blackpool. Its ethos is to provide therapeutic care which is empowering, person centred and needs led and focusses on promoting recovery and independence. With that in mind and following a safety by design practice the Trust wanted to commission products that would provide ultimate patient safety and comfort.

York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust commissioned artistic wall protection from manufacturer Intastop Ltd after its MRI waiting area at York Hospital was suffering damage from the backs of chairs scuffing the perimeter walls leaving unsightly and unhygienic levels of damage.
