Bruntwood BLOC, Manchester formed a part in Bruntwood’s £50m 'Pioneer' redevelopment programme, devoted to creating community-focused workspaces. At the time (2021), this was our largest HYVERT living wall installation to date, encasing two sides of BLOC building, in the heart of Manchester City Centre.It's aim was to remove air pollutants and increase biodiversity. Uniquely, it was also the first living wall to incorporate a programmable LED light display too (by Artin Light), making it a mesmerising piece of living and digital art from day through to night.

Located in Altrincham just South of Manchester, Foundation is a joint venture development between Trafford Council and Bruntwood Commercial Property. This regeneration project is a perfect example of how to address sustainability, economic transformation and social inclusion utilising previously vacant properties in key town centre locations.By retrofitting an existing building with a HYVERT living wall, our clients saved substantial amounts of embodied carbon from not using new building construction materials and also the future life cycle carbon as the plants sequester CO2 over the next 20 years.

Located in Manchester Science Park, Bright Building's HYVERT living wall is internally installed within the communal entrance area.The ambient temperature of this environment means that tropical plant species such as Anthurium and Ficus Elastica could be successfully implemented into the living wall scheme too.

No.2 Circle Square's communal reception area was redeveloped to include a biophilic revamp with the installation of a HYVERT living wall.Plant species were selected to assist with noise abatement, occupant well-being and absorption of volatile atmospheric metals.

We were appointed by Robertson Group on behalf of Bruntwood SciTech, to work on the redevelopment and transformation of West One Estate in Leeds into 'West Village', an innovative new workspace offering flexible office/coworking.West Village includes the creation of a brand new 4-storey extension designed by 3DReid which is architecturally both curved and convex in its shape. A large part of our project involvement included the exciting opportunity to install a HYVERT Living wall which wraps and mirrors the curved shape of the building in the exact same way.A large focus was also placed on developing and implementing a low cost Smart water harvesting and recycling system to reduce it's potable water usage (with a remuneration period between 2-3 years).

The office building, last fully refurbished in the 90's, recently benefitted from a sustainable re-fit with whole life carbon and net zero carbon assessments also being undertaken, as part of the process.HYVERT's design was minimalist in the sense that our clients had not specified any pattern or shape, preferring the living wall to be an organic creation, featuring a vibrant mix of plants species that would blend harmoniously and help the client meet their carbon emission and ESG targets.

Instructed by Bowmer & Kirkland to install 'twin' HYVERT living walls to the façade of a newly created multi storey carpark in Crewe Town Centre.within a brand new urban location and be a part of this transformational town centre schemeThese living walls are perfectly positioned to both capture carbon emissions and increase biodiversity too.

A project for Relentless Developments, which commenced at our HYVERT living wall production site almost a year earlier.Measuring approximately 42sqm, this HYVERT living wall adorns the main entrance lobby area at No. 1 St Michael's Development in Manchester.It has been specially designed to improve indoor air quality and sound quality within the stunning atrium.

Officially appointed by Breakthrough Properties to supply and install 68 HYVERT + living wall panels to the façade of Trinity by Breakthrough — a purpose-built life science research & development centre, located at the gateway to Oxford Business Park.With a commitment to achieving BREEAM Outstanding and Wired Platinum.The addition of HYVERT + living wall panels also reflects Breakthrough Properties’ ongoing commitment to increasing energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions and providing healthy and inspiring workspaces across their whole property portfolio.Equating to over 1000 sqm in coverage, the HYVERT living wall plant species, planting schedule and elevation design have been calculated using HYVERT.ai data to produce a living wall which is aesthetically striking, whilst being robust to the elements to ensure long term plant health and to also provide positive environmental impact for the site via biodiversity increases and improving local air quality.
