The Spa facilities and rooftop bedroom suites at London’s Dorchester hotel underwent a £3.2 million refurbishment. Architecturally the design of the seven bathrooms in the three exclusive rooftop apartments needed to be crisp and contemporary, with the fixtures inspired by 1930’s and 40’s era (the Dorchester was built in 1931) - dashing, exquisite and exclusive.

Geberit launches virtual showroom

Filmed in the company’s UK headquarters in Warwick, the new showroom is designed to offer designers, clients and end-users with an immersive experience of the showroom space.
The initiative also means that users will have the opportunity to get in-depth view of more than 14 product ranges across Geberit’s Aspire and Select ceramic collections, as well as its range of behind-the-wall products including supply and drainage.

Hastings Pier

Hasting’s Pier is an iconic landmark, which, until recently, remained derelict for many years and withstood a major fire in 2010. Following a £14m renovation, the newly opened pier now boasts a stylish makeover, maintaining its rich history while bringing its looks and functionality into the 21st century.

Geberit’s Sovent fitting, used for the first time on an English building. A revolutionary system, the Geberit Sovent negates the need for two stack drainage, streamlining systems for tall-buildings of this nature.
In addition to Sovent, Geberit Silent-db20, a waste water pipe with built in sound insulation, was installed to ensure peace and quiet for the hotel’s guests, Geberit Mapress press-fit pipe system provides general plumbing and Geberit HDPE; a long-lasting pipe with low environmental impact; delivers above-ground drainage. Plumbing systems were specified and installed by Sharpe Mechanical Services.
Saltram House, Plymouth

National Trust owned, Saltram House is a magnificent stately home in Plymouth. Home to the Parker family for several generations, Saltram comprises an elegant Georgian façade built around a much earlier building.
One of many National Trust premises to get a renewable makeover as part of a general drive to improve the environmental credentials of its buildings, Saltram is now home to a biomass system. Plumbed together using Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel, the new heating consists of 220kW and 95kW boilers fuelled by pellets.

St Vincent’s is a day centre and hostel, and Head Office of ‘The Passage’, London’s largest voluntary resource centre for homeless and vulnerable people. Established in 1980, The Passage provides resources which encourage, inspire and challenge homeless people to make lasting and long-term changes to their lives. Since its inception, The Passage has helped over 100,000 people in crisis.
Officially opened in May 2016 by The Duke of Cambridge, St Vincent’s Centre has been recently refurbished providing an uplifting environment in which to help people transform their lives.
