Hygienic Hand Dryers
Hygienic hand dryers are those which incorporate either HEPA filters or UVC sterilisers or another feature that improves the air quality either within the hand dryer and even within the room in which it is situated.
Low Energy Hand Dryers
Hand dryers whose power consumption is no more than 1600W. Hand dryers have a Green Rating which gives a measure of how environmentally friendly they are per use, taking in factors such as carbon consumption in manufacturing and shipping until end-of-life including recyclability.
Ultra-Low Energy Hand Dryer
Those hand dryers whose power consumption is 600W or less.
DDA/ADA Compliant Hand Dryers
Based of the American ADA compliance stipulations, for a hand dryer to be DDA compliant, it should protrude from the wall no more than 100mm
Low Noise Hand Dryers
Hand dryers with a low decibel level are a requirement for areas where noise travel may interrupt other rooms or cause discomfort to children or those with sensory sensitivities.
