The danish interior designer and influencer Emil Thorup is the master behind this stunning heritage apartment in Østerbro. The space embraces a classic herringbone parquet and bright walls that makes every room light up. The balance is reached through the edgy details, that gives the classic apartment a younger feel. For the bathroom, Emil used products in brushed stainless steel from the Qtoo collection.

This contemporary holiday home is located in the tranquil, unspoiled Swedish archipelago. Set into the cliff, the house is beautifully framed by the dramatic, rocky landscape and the deep blue sea. The wooden structure of the house was inspired by the local building traditions found in the boat houses of the archipelago. The interior reflects the minimalist exterior, with furniture in light wood and a subtle colour palette. Barbara Bendix Becker's beautiful atelier is a bright, inviting space that encourages creativity. Barbara is a textile designer and creative consultant, and she also runs the online gallery Salome's. Her love for nordic design is clearly visible in the homelike environment, that is filled with treasures from some of the most iconic scandinavian designers.

In the small french village of Angoulême, France the newly opened concept store Brudey Sneakers Family, can be found. The store is completely dedicated to sneakers, where they offer limited edition collections and exclusive models.The selection of sneakers is just as impressive as the stores interior design; futuristic minimalism with curved lines and rounded shapes. Electric blue is the theme throughout the entire space, and the doors are adorned with the Fat lever handle in the same colour from the Tom Dixon collection.

The Cambridge Central Mosque is an extraordinary building that fuses traditional architecture with modern. The thought behind it was to create a British mosque for the 21st century, and the architects found inspiration in both Islamic and English religious architectural traditions. Marks Barfield Architects won the competition to design the building in 2009, and their concept was to create a calm oasis with a lot of green areas.

Céline Hallas, a Danish visual storyteller and founder of paint company 'color connaisseur', is quite passionate about hues. Her love of colours is strongly visible in her heritage apartment located in Nyhavn, one of the oldest neighborhoods of Copenhagen.She has transformed the stunning apartment into a symphony of chromatic colours, that despite their boldness works in perfect harmony. This vibrant living space surely makes a strong case for saying 'yes' to more colour. Pieces from iconic Danish designers like Arne Jacobsen and Poul Henningsen plays a reliable supporting role to the bold splashes of colour. For the doors, Céline has chosen the AJ97 lever handle in polished brass from d line. In the first phase of their plans for Charlottehaven (or Charlotte Garden) – a 178-rental-apartment development on Strandboulevarden in Østerbro, Copenhagen – Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects exhibited great deftness in their treatment of both light and shadow, and texture and detail. So, it was natural that these interplays should continue into the project’s second phase: 37 furnished hotel apartments known as Charlottetårnet (or Charlotte Tower).A perfect example of these two interplays is seen in the hotel’s light-yet-warm bathrooms, which are characterised by creamy-hued floor-to-ceiling terrazzo surfaces punctuated by d line sanitary pieces in PVD Charcoal.

Inspired by and integrated within the natural landscape around it, the River Building at Grace Farms, which was designed by SANAA, gently slopes, bends and ‘pools’ with its surroundings.For a place in which people gather to experience nature, encounter the arts, pursue justice, foster community and explore faith, the use of glass, steel, concrete and wood is particularly fitting. In the building’s bathrooms, d line sanitary ware was used for its simple lines and the natural rawness of its material.

Grand Junction at St Mary Magdalene Church is a new venue dedicated to the community, arts and culture. Their mission is to gather young people, families and adults through music, arts and performance. The church provides a café, a performance space, offices and an education room.

Designed by Cubo Arkitekter and Force4, the House of Disabled People’s Organisations Denmark’s new structure was conceived so that everyone – regardless of ability – could work and move freely within it.The building’s disability solutions had to be subtle enough to integrate into the architecture, and the d line Cut lever handle, created in collaboration with both Cubo and a group of occupational therapists, was one of the solutions chosen.

The Maggie's Centre in Cardiff, Wales was designed by Dow Jones Architects. The building was inspired by the shape of the local mountains, and you can also find elements of welsh architecture within the building, such as the cwtch. The cwtch is a room lit space inspired by the simnau fawr, which means big chimneys. The building has a strong bond to nature, and the beautiful courtyard is an exceptional space for relaxation and comfort. Throughout the building, d line products from the Knud Holscher collection was used on the doors. Director of Dow Jones Architects, Alun Jones, said "We chose d line because we like the timeless design and the quality of the solid stainless steel ironmongery. The coupe handle is nice and compact and feels good in the hand".

When MoMA New York celebrated its 75th birthday in November 2004 with the opening of its new downtown Manhattan building, it became in the same moment a showcase for Danish industrial design in action.Two years before, the Danish Consulate in New York had approached the museum about sponsorship of Danish designed furniture and accessories in all its public areas.

Behind the raw brick, almost-untouched exterior of a former warehouse in Redfern, Sydney, a once-cavernous space now holds a four-bedroom family home. To that brick exterior, only a few new windows have been added into existing openings, while inside, what Project Architect Ian Moore calls the structure’s ‘adaptive reuse’ has also been carried out with a gentle touch.Inside, materials and furnishings are about comfort and low maintenance – attributes echoed by the architect’s chosen d line ironmongery: “I always use the Knud Holscher Collection,” says Moore. “The design is completely timeless – it’s functional, beautifully proportioned, very comfortable to use and the solid stainless steel gives it a gravitas that’s so often missing in products of this type.”

Newly opened in Ørestad Syd, Copenhagen in 2017, this large-scale indoor venue for events in sports, culture and entertainment is about the optimal visitor experience for audiences of up to 16,000.Danish architects 3XN have given it a distinctly Nordic touch, placing emphasis on quality, functionality and design so that the area is about acoustics, perspective, seat comfort and an expression of elegance not usually seen on this scale. Metallica was the first band at Royal Arena – its three nights bringing a total audience of 46,500 to the venue.

In July 1960 the SAS Royal Hotel opened in Copenhagen as the world’s first design hotel. Now known as the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, it was the embodiment of Arne Jacobsen’s whole-picture approach to architecture and design.Jacobsen received the brief in 1955 from Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) to build the first hotel of its kind and set Copenhagen up as the Nordic gateway for the new tourists travelling from America. The hotel was to act as a terminal in the city centre, with guests whisked direct from its cocktail lounge to Kastrup Airport in a mere 20 minutes.

St Catherine's College opened their doors in 1962, and the men behind it was renowed danish architects Arne Jacobsen and Knud Holscher. Arne Jacobsen had a concrete wall in his backyard to which he referred when working on St Catherine’s College: “This is what it should look like -smooth and slightly glossy”.After only two years at the studio of Arne Jacobsen outside of Copenhagen, Knud Holscher was put in charge of a project that would have a major impact on his career.

Designed by Danish architects Schmidt Hammer Lassen and opened in 1999, the Black Diamond is an extension to the Royal Library in Copenhagen that doubles its size. Its exterior of two glossy black cubes slightly tilted over its harbour-front walkway, reflect the sky above and the sea before it.This glass-and-black-marble structure, which changed the face of the city’s harbour, features a stunning eight-story atrium, whose undulating walls and balconies echo the ebb and flow of the harbour’s waterway.

Between 2016 and 2019, MICA Architects performed a restoration of Lincoln's Inn, that compromised heritage-led conservation and restoration with bold contemporary additions, to the oldest working library in London. The East Terrace development, is a new education suite beneath the existing east terrace of the Great Hall, which provides high quality advocacy training. Classic pieces in stainless steel from the Knud Holscher collection, creates the finishing touches within this historical building. The simplicity and classicism of the products, is perfectly compatible with the modern additions of the space.

Aptly named The Manzoni, the new 100-cover restaurant by Tom Dixon's Design Research Studio pre-opened at the beginning of April 2019 to coincide with Milan Design Week, and re-opened just after Salone as a permanent restaurant.After a year's absence Tom Dixon returned to Milan and rethought how a design brand can embed itself into the heart of Italy's commercial and cultural capital. Monochromatic and crisp, with metallic and marble accents, the restaurant – which correspondingly functions as a showroom – is also warm and inviting. And every single item inside it is also for sale.

As a stunning answer to the Royal Danish Opera House across the water, the Royal Danish Playhouse sits in a prominent location on Copenhagen’s harbour front. Its structure is about the interplay between three compositional elements: an oak-clad promenade standing above the water; a brick stage building and copper-clad tower; and the green glass of the building’s overhanging first floor, which gives the actors and production team spectacular views.For this striking building’s high-traffic toilet facilities, d line products play a reliable supporting role to a dramatic black interior punctuated by lipstick-red doors and bulbed, dressing room-style mirrors.

The house is located in beautiful Gilleleje, and was decorated by danish interior designer and influencer Emil Thorup. The bathroom is attired with products in brushed steel from the Qtoo collection, and the minimalistic design is an immaculate match with the aesthetic expression of the house.

With Via 57 West, Bjarke Ingels and his firm BIG created a magnificent architectural statement on the Hudson River’s Manhattan shore, built upon a philosophy of equal light and balconies for all apartments, and a shared community courtyard.The building, which won the International Highrise Award in 2016, harnesses both New York’s vibrancy and the tranquillity of nature, becoming an oasis within the never-sleeping city.
