ALUgrate – Aluminium drainage grill system

Designed to mirror a DURADECK deckboard (hardwood or composite) and the Alfresco Floors range of 20 mm external grade porcelain paving.

The ALUgrate is discreetly fixed to the timber or ALUrail joist using a hidden clip system, or surface fixed between the vanes.

The purpose of grating requirements is to remove splash-back issues from water hitting the decking or paving, and in turn onto the doors or facade. The special geometry of the ALUgrate allows it to 'trap' rainwater, which then falls directly onto the WPM or insulation layer.

The length of the ALUgrate is 4000 mm, offering a seamless installation, whereas traditional grating is typically 1200 mm.

ALUrail system

The Buzon ALUrail system for outdoor raised floors allows for a simple and cost effective solution for all external terrace applications.

The system can be used for various substrates, 20 mm porcelain, concrete and natural stone pavers.

Practical and functional, the ALUrail system can be used where the void is limited. The system, including the Buzon Pedestal range starts at 29 mm.

The ALUrail comes in 2 heights; 18mm and 38mm, a width of 65mm, and lengths of 2400 mm.

The ALUrail is powder coated in black, therefore not noticeable between the paving slabs. (Silver rails are noticeable). This, combined with the Buzon pedestals, rubber pads and spacer tab, will prove to be a ‘hidden’ system.

BC® Support Pedestals

Screwjack pedestal system for support of external raised paving, decking or internal raised floors.

  • Accommodates gravity laying of polygonal panels.
  • Enables drainage without visible grilles.
  • Allows access throughout to concealed services.
  • Load (maximum each pedestal): 1000 kg. Specific recommended maximum load varies with pedestal height, pitch of substrate, symmetry of loading and internal or external application.
  • Choice of spacer tabs suitable for joint width of topping material. Circular tabs are adjustable for angle.
  • Pedestal height: 11–1120 mm.
  • Polypropylene pedestal. Resistant to weather, UV, chemical products. Electrically non-conductive. Not susceptible to galvanic corrosion.
  • Sloping substrates: Optional, wedge type slope corrector for placement under pedestal.

Usage:

  • In conjunction with platform materials including concrete, metal grid, natural stone, terrazzo or wood. Platform can be gravity laid or fixed to pedestal head.
  • As visible bottom surface of water features over service voids.
  • Industrial floors.
  • Temporary installations.

DPH2/PH5 - Decking and paving pedestals

  • Slope corrector fitted to top of pedestal, adjustable in half-degree increments. Suitable for pitched substrates (maximum): 5 %.
  • Choice of pedestal material. Resistant to weather, UV, chemical products. Electrically non-conductive. Not susceptible to galvanic corrosion.
  • Choice of spacer tabs suitable for joint width of topping material.

Usage:

  • In conjunction with platform materials including concrete, metal grid, natural stone, terrazzo, fibreglass grating, temporary platforms, garden buildings or wood. Platform can be gravity laid or fixed to pedestal head. Also available in clear polypropelene (please request information)
