Individual components within the overall system specification hold variable scales of recyclability. For example, Rockwool insulation boards can be recycled into new Rockwool products with minimal to no loss in quality. Denseck roof boards contain a core primarily composed of gypsum, which can be recycled in specialist facilities. Fabricated metal sheets can also be recycled, however the plastisol coating may add a layer of complexity, requiring specialist treatment prior to recycling. Please refer to the product data sheets and speak to your individual waste management facilitator for specialist advice as new waste treatment methods continue to develop.
