The redevelopment of One Braham, formerly Beagle House, was completed last year, with the renovation providing 298,000 sq. ft of Grade A office space and 10,000 sq. ft of ground-floor retail space.

Devon House underwent a full refurbishment internally and externally that included a brand-new reception space and terrace with prime views over River Thames. The new reception area encapsulates that of a social space almost mimicking a coffee house with a relaxed atmosphere. A refurbishment by Blackstone, demanded distinctive design features including warm brown with gold tones standing out in this project which are symbolic to Blackstone’s previous refurbishments.

Boon Edam was selected as the main supplier for the bespoke entrance after being recommended to Martin Brudnizki Design Studio by Fortnum & Mason due to its speciality in revolving doors.

The Berkeley Hotel is a luxurious and iconic hotel, housed in the fashionable district of Knightsbridge, London. When renovations were required, Roger Stirk Harbour & Partners designed a glass façade entrance to the hotel. Boon Edam Ltd was consulted to provide a stylish entry solution to complement the updated lobby entrance and reflect the luxurious image of the Berkeley Hotel brand.

Being brought into the project back in 2015, there were predicted changes regarding building occupancy levels. In 2017 it was decided that 122 Waterloo Street’s entrance would consist of two fully automatic, 4 wing revolving doors (Tourniket). 4 wings allow for a more monitored and controlled throughput. Knowing the building capacity helped to dictate the number of lanes required and the type of lane layout needed to suit. We as always had to consider DDA access, and how to incorporate this into the lane design seamlessly.

Now, looking to transform the way they work, the retail HQ based in Reading upgraded its large office space to start a new era of work-life for its current and future employees. This large refurbishment will see all floors of their existing building being completely reconfigured and re-designed that sees a new cafe/bar and staff gym/studio along with a studio mock shop space and office expansion.
