Crystal Palace FC collaborated with our A&S Landscape consultants to design and install a top-of-the-line canopy at their training ground. This sleek and modern structure not only provides ample shelter for their training team and spectators but also serves as a striking feature of the facility.What was the project brief?Crystal Palace FC approached us in the early stages of their academy development, seeking a large canopy to cover a newly built stand. They were eager to see how A&S Landscape could meet their needs, particularly because of our reputation for using premium-grade materials. They worked closely with our consultants to bring their vision to life.What was our canopy solution?We designed and installed a Bespoke Motiva Cantilever™ canopy, featuring a Goosewing Grey Duracoat™ finish on the steelwork and an Opal polycarbonate roof. This sleek and contemporary addition to the grounds offers protection from both harsh UV rays and rain, ensuring coaches and spectators are comfortably accommodated on the training ground.Our Motiva Cantilever™ design is extremely adaptable, available in both a straight-roof or curved-roof design, the canopy can be used for covered walkways, spectators stands, or as a covered area to store equipment. The design benefits from only having one row of structural posts, which can be positioned to the front, centre, or rear of the canopy – providing a more open and accessible space. The solid steel structure with a polycarbonate roof is extremely robust, and is covered in our Duracoat™ to provide advanced protection from scratches, rust, and corrosion.

With Covid restrictions easing, Haslington Primary Academy were having increasingly more visitors and staff coming into the building. However, since only a certain number of people were allowed in the building at any given time, they had many of their visitors waiting outside. Having an entrance canopy meant their visitors could be sheltered from whatever the weather – rain, snow, wind or sun; the canopy served to be of great protection and use.What was the project?To install an entrance canopy at the main entrance of Haslington Primary Academy.What was the problem?With their indoor entrance hallway fairly small, Haslington Primary were finding more of their parents and visitors waiting outside. Some of these visitors had small children, so needing shelter was paramount. A&S Landscape was chosen to work on this project, ensuring Haslington Primary had the perfect entrance canopy that would ease their concerns.What was our solution?Our dedicated design team suggested the Motiva Entro™, curved roof shelter. This design not only looks appealing, but is also durable, lasting for many years due to its solid steel framework. We selected Opal roofing as it also provides protection from harmful UV rays keeping adults and children safe when waiting outside.What product did we use?A&S Landscape successfully installed a Motiva Entro™ curved roof shelter complete with steelwork and guttering in Ultramarine Blue and Opal polycarbonate roofing, making it the perfect first impression when someone arrives. For this project, Haslington Primary Academy opted for a blue finish, but we also offer a wide range of other popular colours.

With coloured roofing and decals on the side panels, we think this is probably the most colourful canopy designed and built by anyone, anywhere!The roller shutter doors add value by providing secure storage for play equipment overnight.

The completed Motiva Covered MUGA™ canopy boasts a durable galvanised finish and an Opal polycarbonate roof.
