Stair Nosing (Stair Edging )Installation Guide & Detailing Data Sheet 2025
This is a guide to the application and installation of the accessories that finish of a stairway, including Stair Nosing (stair edging). Edgings (angles) provide a neat trim to the sides of steps on an open string stairway and Stair Nosings are the essential safety feature applied to the nose of each step. For those stairways with a curved step feature, bespoke fabricated Stair Nosings can be produced. Outline fitting instructions for these accessories are shown overleaf.
