Fire Shutter - Horizontal Four Hour Horizontally Operating Fire Resisting Shutter

Bolton Gate Company’s wide range of passive fire resisting products is complemented by the four hour fire resisting horizontal shutter which is capable of closing openings up to 15m in length and 6m in width. On alarm activation, the shutter curtain formed from heavy duty curved profile laths mounted between fabricated guide channels is driven out electrically along the horizontal. The bespoke shutter is ideally suited to provide fire integrity compartmentation where equipment or materials need to be transferred between floors. Alternatively, it can be used on travelators and escalator openings that are not specifically used as part of the fire exit strategy.
