Description
A single-layer, mechanically-fixed, warm roof system. The Excel FM RBM is reinforced with the Alpa® polymer modified and the roof system is suitable for new build and refurbishment applications.
The top surface is finished with coloured ceramic granules or mineral slate chippings, while the under surface is finished with a loose silicone film.
Features and benefits:
- Mechanically fixed with either torch-on or hot air welding at laps to form a continuous layer.
- BBA approved - certificate number 94/3037 PS1.
- Service life "in excess of 30-years" - BBA agrement certificate 94/3037 ps1i6 (June 2025)
- Suitable for zero fall (inverted) and pitched roofs.
- Can be used over all substrates (concrete slab, profiled metal deck and timber deck).
- Roof system includes Air and Vapour Control Layers (AVCLs), tapered or flat board thermal insulation, underlayer and capsheet, self finished in a choice of colours to suit roof designs of differing complexity.
- Manufactured within ISO 9001 and 14001 certified management systems.
- Exclusive Alpa binder provides bond strength, flexibility and durability: creates a flexible and lightweight cap sheet.
- Suitable for all third party building warranty providers such as LABC and NHBC.
