Description
Bituminous, semi-flexible protection board for use in horizontal and vertical applications to prevent damage to waterproofing membranes.
Features and benefits:
- Made from a mixture of fibres saturated with at least 75% bitumen, covered one side with a polyethylene film.
- Polyethylene film avoids the bitumen bleeding onto other surfaces.
- Tough and durable and can withstand concrete pour.
- Completely rot-proof and will not delaminate even when immersed in water.
- Can be butted together and fixed by either spot bonding or fixing the edges with heavy duty bitumen tape.
- Can be heat bonded on the open side, providing very good adhesion to vertical surfaces.
- Easily cut and shaped around corners and details.
- Available in two thicknesses.
