Description

A range of specially formulated ready-mixed mortars based on Saint-Astier natural hydraulic lime and aggregates for the repair or simulation of brick, sandstone, limestone and soft stone.

The range includes:

  • St One® Fine – a fine-grain repair mortar for sandstone.
  • St One® Original – a repair mortar for limestone and brick.
  • St One® Soft – a repair mortar for soft stone (chalk etc.).
  • St One® Step – a stone repair mortar for horizontal surfaces (steps, thresholds etc.).
  • St One® Strong – a repair mortar for hard stone.

For further mortar and render mix ratios and application guidelines please contact SAINT-ASTIER. Hot weather requirements: Protect lime mortar from uneven and excessive evaporation during dry, hot weather. Provide tarping over the outside of all scaffolding. When the ST One® is uniformly dry, a lime shelter coat or a lime paint can be applied. For greater thicknesses, load successive layers of 3 to 5 cm after setting the previous layer. For thicknesses greater than 4 cm, a reinforcing frame (stainless steel) will be fixed depending on the weight and dimension to be repaired.

Features and benefits:

  • Bespoke mix based on masonry composition.
  • Easy to model, form and shape.
  • It can be used for repairs up to 10 cm (up to 8 cm for St One® Step) and can be remodelled for up to 48 hours (St One® Step can be cut for up to 48 hours).
  • Colour: neutral white or pre-coloured mortar from St. One's colour range. In addition, to best match the original stone colour and aesthetic, St. One® colouration can be matched and manufactured. Colours can also be mixed on-site, by incorporating mineral lime-compatible pigments.
  • Supplied in 25 kg bags to which mixing water is added.
