Novia Aluminium Foil Tape is a high tack, low emissivity and low moisture vapour permeability lap sealing tape for use in air & vapour control layer (AVCL), damp proof membrane (DPM) and radon gas barrier applications.
Features and benefits:
- Should be used in conjunction with Novia Double Sided Butyl jointing and sealing tape, for the best results for airtightness and prevention of interstitial condensation.
- Cold weather solvent acrylic adhesive creates a tape that can be used for installation temperatures as low as -20°C with care, but it can also be used up to temperatures of +40°C.
- Low cost jointing tape.
Novia advises the use of both lap and butyl tapes on all AVCL installations - see membrane product specific datasheets for tape requirements.
