Trading since 1957, Filon Products is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) construction products. We are a successful business with a long track record of developing and marketing innovative products. Filon is predominantly a manufacturer of translucent profiled GRP rooflights, but also manufactures colour tinted and coloured opaque roof sheets as an alternative to metal and fibre cement roof sheets. A variety of other roofing and rooflighting products are also available including a lightweight GRP over-roof system; Fixsafe, a replacement rooflight system designed to allow replacement to be carried out entirely from below which removes the risk of accessing fragile roofs; GRP barrel vault rooflights and GRP valley troughs and dry fix valley troughs for slate and tiled roofs. Manufacturing in premises in Burntwood, Staffordshire houses state-of-the art manufacturing facilities for flat and profiled GRP sheet and other products. The plant is operated under an ISO 9001 quality management programme and our manufacturing process carries the ISO 14001 environmental accreditation.
