As part of the Profiles high performance roofing system, the Profiles Vapour-Vent XL membrane is a SBS-modified aluminium/ PET lined bitumen membrane applied by ‘torch-on’ application. It has with resinous bitumen stripes on the upper surface which are activated by torch-heating to receive and adhere the insulation board.Profiles Vapour-Vent XL is suitable for direct application to non-combustible substrates, such as profiled metal, and cementitious substrates, as well as suitable existing bitumen and asphalt roofs. The Profiles system is available to IMA approved roofing contractors only.

Monofilament 250 is constructed using a three layered membrane combination and incorporates a high density polyethylene reinforcement grid which ensures high tensile strength and excellent water vapour resistance.It is for use within buildings with low to medium levels of humidity. It is a loose-laid membrane and therefore intended for use within mechanically fastened warm roof waterproofing systems. Joints should be sealed with Monobond LT sealant tape.

Designed to satisfy the requirements of BS 5534 and BRE Defect Action Sheet 9 which recommend the use of a more durable material for areas where the underlay may be exposed.
