The Sloane Hospital

SDS supported the transformation and upgrade of the MRI Department at Circle Health’s Sloane Hospital, delivering a high-performance package of doorsets that balanced functionality, safety and premium aesthetics expected within a private healthcare setting.

One of the primary objectives was to ensure safe and efficient access for staff and patients, including safe movement of specialist scanning equipment. The doorsets had to integrate smoothly with MRI safety requirements, including warning-light systems, X-ray protection, and infection-control-friendly design with no recesses for dust or bacteria to collect. 

Doorsets were supported by Priviglaze systems, integrated warning lights, and high-quality stainless-steel ironmongery, creating a visually impressive and fully compliant clinical environment.

The Circle Health Sloane MRI Department project showcases SDS’s ability to respond quickly, deliver complex specialist products, and support contractors under intense time pressures.

The client also required high durability to withstand the impacts of beds, wheelchairs and porters, making SDS’s PVC post-formed doorsets the ideal choice.
