St James Quay; Natural, Smoke & Mechanical Ventilation

D+H UK provided natural, smoke and mechanical ventilation systems at St James Quay two residential blocks in central Norwich riverside area.

Smoke ventilation is provided in the corridors of both blocks at roof level. Staircases are ventilated through the facade in one block and at roof level in the other.

Natural day-to-day ventilation is provided via the NSHEV dome vents on the roof.

A smoke extract system serves the ground floor cycle store lobby within one of the blocks.
