Skysports DXV Vertiports, Dubai – Stainless-Steel Sand & Oil Interceptor System

Skyports DXV Vertiports is a transport infrastructure project in Dubai designed to support next-generation aviation and air mobility. As part of the drainage and environmental protection works, the project required a durable stainless-steel sand and oil interceptor capable of meeting strict consultant and contractor specifications.

Working under the lead consultant GHD Global Pty Ltd and the main contractor Al Tayer Stocks LLC, Aluline supplied a project-specific interceptor engineered for the site’s operational and environmental needs.

Aluline provided:

• A custom stainless-steel sand & oil interceptor designed for long service life in demanding Middle Eastern conditions
• Detailed GA drawings, internal partition layouts, materials specifications and access cover details
• Revised compliance statements, warranties and technical documentation to align with consultant review requirements
• Coordination with GHD Global, PMC and contractor teams during the OCS (Observations & Comments Sheet) cycle
• Full clarification responses relating to materials, sequence of operation, and installation interfaces

The stainless-steel construction ensures superior durability, corrosion resistance and sustainability performance compared to non-metallic alternatives, supporting the project’s long-term operational and environmental objectives.
