Pear Close, Kenilworth - Skyline Window Surrounds

OVERVIEW

New luxury homes completed with bespoke Alumasc products

A plot of new houses in Kenilworth, near Coventry, has been completed to include bespoke Skyline Architectural Aluminium window surrounds, which were at the time of specification not yet widely offered by Alumasc.

When looking for sleek looking gutters and downpipes that would reflect the luxury nature of the build, main contractors Marlpit Construction Ltd approached Alumasc for a suitable solution. As conversations continued, it was discovered that Alumasc were able to provide much more.

John Hemphill, National Skyline Architectural Aluminium Technical Sales Manager for Alumasc, explained: “We had some great discussions about what these homes would eventually need, and because of Alumasc’s expertise in creating bespoke solutions, we were able to work with the architect, Brownhill Hayward Brown, to develop the perfect solution.

“We have been working on a window offering internally for a while and this was the perfect opportunity for its first specification. The window surrounds were provided as a completely bespoke solution, designed in conjunction with the architect, however as of Spring 2022, these will be offered as a brand new range from Alumasc.”

All made from Aluminium, the products suppled bring a premium finish to the homes, increasing their overall value and ensuring the buildings will stay reliably watertight for many years to come.

Skyline Architectural Aluminium window surrounds constitute a complete system or ‘kit’ that is simple to install, and offers designers and specifiers a combination of practicality, innovation, aesthetic appeal and low maintenance. They are available in a 100mm projection (‘Deepline’) and a 50mm projection (‘Slimline’), bringing a complete package of components, and choice covering a range of window and door opening sizes.

Other products used from the Alumasc Rainwater range were the GX Joggle Box Gutter, especially suited to applications where maximum capacity gutters are required, and 76mm diameter Flush Joint downpipes, which feature concealed spigots to give a smooth appearance that complements modern building design.

Alumasc Technical Specification Managers were available throughout the build to assist with information and installation advice, to ensure the scheme exceeded the clients expectations.

John added: “The client is delighted with the entire specification. As we provided the entirety of products from the window surrounds to the gutters, everything was able to be supplied in the exact same finish, and benefitted from the same guarantee.”

The Aluminium Rainwater and Skyline Architectural Aluminium ranges are available in a unique range of profiles and finishes. We also provide made-to-order options, making the range suitable for traditional and modern buildings. Specific products in this range are also subject to our BBA approved polyester powder coating process.
