OVERVIEW
The Queen Alexandra Hospital is a large NHS hospital in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
The requirement was for a cast iron above ground BS EN 877 drainage system with excellent fire ratings and acoustic properties to carry out the refurbishment of their large car park.
The Waterworks Plumbing Supplies Ltd won the project & chose our Kitemarked Halifax Soil system for the job.
A blanket order was placed with call offs being made when required. The system was delivered in phases direct to the Hospital in Portsmouth, following strict delivery instructions and pre-agreed delivery slots.
The job required over 1200 meters of pipe (supplied in 3 meter lengths), over 1200 ductile iron couplings (supplied with electrical continuity) & 900 coated adjustable brackets.
